Noel Tweetings

Hi everyone.  I can’t believe it’s December 1st already!  The crazy busy season has started. So I’m just sneaking in a CAS Christmas card.

Stamped the bird image with Memento black ink on a scrap of X-Press It paper.  Coloured it with Copics then die cut out with the matching die.

Die cut the branch (retired Memory Box - thanks Nancy 😉) from brown cardstock.  Die cut Noel twice from white scraps.  Ombré coloured Noel with Copics and added clear glitter.

Adhered all the pieces onto a white stitched rectangle from my stash.  Placed a snow stencil over the whole panel and applied white embossing paste.  Once the paste dried, mounted the panel with foam adhesives onto a white top folding card base to finish.

Thank you for stopping by.  Happy holidays!

Oh my, Trina, I'm in love with that adorable little bird! Wonderful colouring---perfect for the background. Using him for your "O" makes the sentiment stand out so much more. I love the embossing paste snowfall. What a clever way to use the stencil rather than inking. I love the clean and simple lines, the stitched border and, actually, everything about this card. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
