Less is More #383 - Dimension

Hello there!  It's a new challenge at Less is More (LIM).  This fortnight the challenge is to add Dimension to your cards and yet still keep it clean and simple (CAS).  Our August winner Claire Garland of String Bows, is our talented guest.  Uniko is our generous sponsor this month.

SET BACK STAMING

I've been wanting to try this Set Back Stamping technique, and thought this challenge was a good time to do just that.  Using my MISTI,  stamped the houses with black Copic friendly ink on an A2 size piece of X-press It cardstock.  Coloured in the houses with Copics in rainbow colours.

Stamped the houses again onto a smaller piece of Bristol paper.  Die cut the houses out with the matching die from this piece and a piece of white fun foam.  Next, ink blended Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Blueprint Sketch distress inks (di's) for the sky.  Stamped the sentiment in black.  Mounted the Bristol piece onto the fun foam piece and added snow with a white gel pen to finish.

There are so many ways to add dimension and keep your cards CAS.  Can't wait to see your take on this challenge.  Our guest and my teammies have created some fabulous cards to inspire you and you can view them HERE.  Thank you for visiting.
