CAS Christmas July Challenge - Snowflake

Hello everyone.  It's Christmas in July and the new challenge at CAS Christmas is another easy one... Snowflake!


Here’s my card. 



Love non-traditional colour Christmas cards and rainbows, so I combined them!  I won this Snowflake Collage die a couple years ago and am finally using it now.  It die cuts the negative, so this card came together quite easily.  Started by trimming down a scrap piece of Bristol paper slightly larger than the die, then applied Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon distress inks with blending brushes.  For some sparkle and glam, spritz it with Sparkle spray (it looks really pretty IRL).


Die cut the snowflake collage from a Bristol stitch rectangle, then backed it with the rainbow panel.  Heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip with white embossing powder.  Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.  Easy-peasy!
