Christmas Dove Twofer

Hello again.  As mentioned in my last post, here's the other dove Christmas card.  I saw this card online and wanted to CASE it.


For this one, I took a light blue cardstock panel from my stash and die cut the dove in the upper right corner.  Next, a Wave of Snowflakes stencil was inked with VersaMark then those inked snowflakes were heat embossed with white embossing powder.


Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distress inks were then blended on with blending brushes.  It probably would have been quicker to use mini blending tools.  Made sure to leave the areas around the images un-inked to get that glow effect.


Used my heat tool to dry the inked panel completely before heat embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder.  Die cut the dove from white glitter paper and inlaid it.  Added dots to the snowflake trail with a white gelly roll pen to finish.

    Wonderful CASE of the online card, Trina! I love the gorgeous dark blue background! It highlights the beauty of the die-cut dove and the heat-embossed snowflakes.

    This is just stunning, Trina. The glow on the trail of stars is awesome and the white dove against that blue background is lovely. The negative card is also gorgeous.
