That’s three years now that I’ve made my life during the Christmas holiday season a whole lot easier as I make Christmas cards each month. 😉 This month it’s a colour challenge and the colours are Kraft, Red and White. Neutrals are allowed in small amounts.
I don’t buy kits often, but the January 2021 Snowflake Season kit from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) was an exception because I could actually see myself using everything in it, including the pattern papers! I used the stand-alone snowflake die from the kit to create my card.
The snowflake was die cut twice from thick white scraps and once from Memory Box white Holiday Glimmer paper, then stacked for dimension.
The sentiment (retired) was heat embossed with white embossing powder on a red cardstock strip. Assembled onto a stitched kraft rectangle panel from my stash to finish.
This was actually the second version where I reversed the colours from this first version.

ReplyDeleteBoth are CAS beauties, Trina! So clean, crisp, and impactful with the color contrast! The snowflake die-cuts are so pretty and the sparkle from them makes them look even prettier. Reversing the color to red (untraditional for a snowflake) is so interesting!
