Spellbinders - Cheerful Chirps

Hello everyone.  I’m popping in to share a couple of “tweet” birthday cards featuring
the Cheerful Chirps collection from Spellbinders (SB) as part of the June 2025 release.

First up are these Pretty Birds.

The bird layers were die cut from white cardstock then ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Abandoned Coral and Black Soot distress inks (DI).

The arch perch was die cut from gold foil paper.  The background was embossed with the Party Balloons 3D embossing folder.  Stamped the sentiments from Spread Your Wings Sentiments stamp set with Versafine Black ink and fussy cut out.  Assembled tge card not a white card base to finish.

My second card used the Flying High dies, which makes the perfect cockatoo.  The cockatoo layers were die cut from white, yellow and black cardstock.  Shading was added to the white pieces with grey dye ink.

The branch and leaves are from the same die set, while the flowers are from the die set above.  The branch was die cut from Kraft; the flowers and leaves from white.  Ink blended the leaves and flowers with Twisted Citron/Mowed Lawn and Kitsch Flamingo/picked Raspberry DI, respectively  The branch and flower centers were coloured with Copic Sketch markers E30/23/27 and Y06/YR24, respectively.

A Notched Corner frame was die cut from Bristol paper next.  Assembled all the elements onto a Pool Party panel and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black ink to finish.
