Whimsy Stamps - Scrooge Keyhole Tunnel Window Card

Hello there.  I have another Christmas card today using more fabulous products from Whimsy Stamps (WS).  Last year Santa was at the door peeking in through the keyhole… and now we know what he saw. ๐Ÿ˜‚LOL

Started by trimming four gradient blue colour cardstock to A2 size (4.25x5.5-inches).  Die cut them with the Keyhole die set then stacked them together for the tunnel.  Adhered it to a white A2 top folding card base where the front was die cut out with the smallest die for the window opening.

Scrooge was then stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It paper, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then fussy cut out.

Copic markers used:
skin - E00/11/13
blues - B00/12, FB2
greys - W00/1/3

To create the room scene inside, stamped Scrooge and the Farmhouse Shiplap Background onto a white top folded 4x5.25-inch notecard to provide a place to write messages.  Next, dragged direct-to-paper Gathered Twigs distress ink cube (DI) across the bottom for the floor.

Ink blended Scattered Straw DI around the candle flame followed with Lost Shadow/Black Soot DIs over a Giraffe stencil for the stone wall.

Pieced the fussy cut Scrooge on top of the other Scrooge.  Mounted the die cut sentiment on the front and assembled the card to finish.

  1. This is so creative, Trina. The room you made for Scrooge to walk through is fabulous and the tunnel cut really focuses on him. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
