Spellbinders - Cascading Coneflowers

Hello everyone.  I have a birthday card to share today featuring the Cascading Coneflowers collection by Simon Hurley for Spellbinders (SB).

Coneflowers are in the same plant family as daisies, so it was not that much of a stretch to turn the Wild Coneflowers into daisies for this floral bouquet A6 (4.5x6.25-inches) size card.

The floral and foliage pieces were die cut from white cardstock.  The petals and leaves were ink blended with yellow, gray or green dye inks.   The flower centers were coloured with Copic Sketch markers (YR23/24/27, E18).  For some texture, splattered the flowers with diluted white gouache paint.

The background is the debossed side of a Bristol panel that was dry embossed with the Cascading Dots 3D embossing folder (EF).  There is a coordinating Layered Cascading Dots stencil. The bouquet wrap was made from the largest Infinity Heart cutout.  The Happy Birthday Big & Bold Sentiment was die cut from white and its shadier from black.   Coloured the sentiment with the same Copic Sketch markers used for the daisy centers.  Assembled the card onto a white A6 size card base then added a white satin bow to finish.

Main products used for my card are linked below.  Please note, compensated affiliate links are used throughout this post and blog at no extra cost to you.  I appreciate your support as it will help me to continue creating with SB products.  Thank you for stopping by.
