Santa Down the Chimney

Hello there!  I wanted to do a followup to my last post with Santa going down the chimney head first.  Spoiler alert -- he made it down just fine. 😂

Started by stamping Santa with Copic friendly black ink on a scrap of X-press It cardstock.  Coloured in with Copics then fussy cut him out.  Die cut the fireplace and stockings from  different scraps of white paper.  On the main fireplace diecut piece, sponged Smoky Slate ink through a brick stencil.  Die cut the mantel piece again and trimmed it down to create the baseboard.  Blended Black Soot distress ink (di) with a mini blending tool onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the fireplace.

Sponged Kraft ink on the bottom quarter of an A2 Whisper White panel for the floor, then assembled the fireplace scene.  Coloured the stockings with Copics and added clear shimmer for some sparkle.  Stamped the sentiment from the same set in black on another scrap of white paper, then die cut out with a speech bubble die.  The speech bubble was not the right size, so placed the piece back into the die and partial die cut it to make it smaller.  Sponged the edge with black di then popped it up with foam tape to finish.

Thank you for dropping by.  Have a wonderful week.
