Spring Bouquet Birthday

Hi there!  Dropping in to share a clean and layered Spring birthday card today.  I have a whole bunch of birthdays coming up next month, so working on my stash.

I've had the Spring Bouquet stamp set for months so thought it was time to ink it up.  It was stamped on X-press It cardstock with Copic friendly black ink, coloured with Copics then fussy cut out (don't have the coordinating die).  For some sparkle, spritz with a shimmer spray (couldn't capture all that sparkle goodness in the photo).

Next, took an A2 size Whisper White piece from my stash and embossed it with the Pinewood Plank embossing folder.  On the debossed side, dragged Sahara Sand ink pad down the length of the panel for a weathered look.  White heat embossed the sentiment on a black strip and adhered it directly onto the flower bouquet.  Popped everythingt up with foam tape for some dimension to finish.

And that's it for today.  Thank you for stopping by.

Gorgeous flowers, Trina! I love how you've shaded the wood paneling that gives a rustic look to this! The black strip with the white sentiment is a wonderful contrast!
