Dear Santa

Hello there!  I had to include at least one good old St. Nick card in my Christmas stash. 😉

Started by stamping Santa with alcohol friendly black ink on a scrap of alcohol friendly cardstock, then coloured him with Copics.  I have the matching die, but wanted a thinner white border, so he was fussy cut out.  I also altered the image to make him look like he’s reading a letter rather than checking his list.

The Letter Message Board was die cut from black cardstock and trimmed to shorten it, and the letters were die cut from white scraps.  Adhered the message board to a light cocoa shimmer panel (looks like light gold IRL).  Popped Santa up with foam tape and added a few snowflake sequins to finish.

And another Christmas card completed.  Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

This is the cutest card Trina. I love the story you've created with the message board and Santa reading the letter :) I know what you mean about fussy cutting sometimes giving you more control over the look of your image versus die-cutting. Vicky x

I love the message board, that looks wonderful. And the bright pop of Santa's red is perfect against it.
