The moose images on both cards were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then fussy cut out. On a Bristol panel, applied Salvaged Patina distress ink (DI) with a blender brush over the hill slope edge of the It’s Snowing stencil for the background.
Die cut the Large Happy word from alcohol marker friendly and black cardstock to offset for a drop shadow. Colored the white one with violet Copic Sketch markers then added clear shimmer to it for some sparkle. Black heat embossed “christmas” from Happy Sayings directly onto the Bristol panel. Isolated “moose” from one of the sentiments in the Moose You set and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock. Assembled the card onto a white card base and added falling snow with a white gel pen to finish.
My second card is a friendship card.
This card also features the new Stardust Swirl die. It was die cut from one of the Blissful Blues pattern papers then backed with white glitter paper.
Ink blended Squeezed Lemonade DI next for the glow from the fire. Adhered the image then added shading to the bottom with gray Copic Sketch markers. White heat embossed the sentiment on black to finish. That little mouse is too cute and cracks me up. 😂

Those moose images couldn't be cuter and you've colored them so beautifully, Trina! What perfect scenes for them too - love all the little details like the fireglow and shadows!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute. I love the sentiments that go along with the images that your colored so beautifully. Great cards, Trina.
ReplyDeleteTrina, such pretty and fun winter scenes. Your little Moose is so adorable.
ReplyDeleteTwo fun cards with this cool moose and your backgrounds looks both wonderful!! Love especially so much the way you used the patterned paper with the stardust swirl die in the second one and the fire glow, all match so well together! You are always so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
This moose is such fun, Trina! Love the Christmas card and how you've done the sentiment! The second card has a wonderful starry background and that moose always makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, these are fun!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to think of combining "Christmas" and "moose", Trina! Your coloring and ink-blending is so beautiful as always. I love how you used the pattern paper for the background for the second card. It doesn't look like ready-made paper. The little mouse makes me smile!
