Hello there. There’s a new release today at Whimsy Stamps (WS) and all products are available now in their shop. Continuing with the Valentine’s/love theme, I have another slimline (SL) Valentine’s card to share featuring the new Best Friends stamp set with the new SL Victorian Layers dies.
This was pretty straight forward. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock (AMFC), coloured with Copic Sketch markers, then fussy cut out.
Copic markers used:
Pinks - R81, R83, R85
Milk - C00, C0, C1
Cookie - E31. E23, E25, E27, E29
Peanut Butter - YR21, YR24, YR27, E09
Bread - E51, E53, E55
Keeping the four largest Victorian die layers in tact (not cutting the wires holding them together), used it to dry emboss a SL (5.5”x8.5”) mixed media paper panel. I wanted to give the card a bit more dimension. Took that die and die cut from AMFC next. Stamped the sentiment on the the innermost piece, then coloured it and the frame layers with the same pink markers above. Assembled onto a white SL card base to finish.
Here’s a collage of inspirations from the design team.

A very fun and cute slimline Trina, so different!! Well done not cutting the wires of the die, it's more easy have perfect nested frames! Love the pink shades!
