The bird layers were die cut from Bristol paper and ink blended with two shades of blue dye ink using finger blending brushes. The poinsettia, mistletoes and pine branches were die cut from alcohol marker friendly cardstock and coloured with Copic Sketch markers.
Copic markers used:
mistletoe - G40/43. YG09
pine branch - YG63/67
“Season’s” was die cut from blue mirror paper. “greetings” was hot foiled with Cobalt Blue hot foil on an A2 size Bristol panel, but because it came out crooked, it was trimmed down. Assembled the card onto a white card base and added blue gems to the poinsettia center to finish.
That’s it for today. Thank you for stopping by.

You are truly great at making beautiful blue-themed cards, Trina! This is one of them, and I can see your love of blue in the card. The combination of the dauber blended bird and the copic colored poinsettia is stunning! The blue gems and the foil die-cut sentiment are wonderful shiny touches.

ReplyDeleteI love the bird with the hat, and the blue color is a great alternative to Santa in red.
