The bats were die cut from black cardstock and their eyes from white. Used the Pierced and Stitched Circle dies to die cut a moon mask from masking paper and the spiral pop-up piece from acetate. For the background, adhered the moon mask to a white 5.5x8.5-inch panel, then ink blended Wilted Violet and Black Soot distress inks (DI). Flicked on water and blot with a paper towel for some texture. Scored the panel in half and glued it to the inside of a black A2 size card base. Trimmed off the overhang and adhered the spiral inside then attached the colony of bats to it.
To keep the card closed, a belly band was created. The background here was done by ink blending Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet DI over the It’s Cloudy stencil. Splattered it with diluted black gouache paint. The branch is from Tree Assortment. The sentiment is the Poof! word altered and flipped. It was die cut from white glitter paper and black card stock to offset for a drop shadow. And that is it for my card.

I'm not a Halloween fun, but love little bats. I have a small colony in the wall space under my house, and sometime one or two go to sleep behind my blinds. They are cute and helpful as they eat a lot of mosquitoes! :D
