Followed these simple instructions to form the envelope base. Its finished size is slightly larger than a standard A2 size card and would fit nicely into an A6 (or A7) size envelope.
The different pieces were die cut from colored and/or white cardstock, then put together according to the guides pictured below. Copic Sketch markers and/or ink blending with dye inks were then used to add shading to them.
The envelope base was used for both Christmas cards.
Here they are close-up.
For the birthday card, stretched the two side envelope flaps to create a floral bouquet wrap from cream woodgrain paper.
The bow is the only piece from the Christmas Wonder die set.
The background was embossed with the Leafy 3D embossing folder for dimension.
