Stay Crafty October 2024 Challenge Reminder - Thanks for the Memory

Hello there.  i’m back today with another inspiration for the Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero (ABNH) October 2024 challenge over on the Hero Arts (HA) blog.  This month’s theme is THANKS FOR THE MEMORY.

*affiliate links used in this post when possible at no extra cost to you… thank you*

HA products used:
▪️Foliage & Flowers fancy dies
▪️Honey Pot fancy dies
▪️Nesting Circle infinity dies
▪️Winter Foliage stamp & cut XL (sentiment)

Stretched the Foliage & Flowers and Honey Pot fancy dies to create sunflowers and a vase/plantero, respectively.  They were die cut from white and ink blended with blending brushes and dye inks.  For the vase/planter, the honey pot was traced onto light blue cardstock and fussy cut out before ink blending.   To give the sunflower centers texture, a ring was dotted with a white gel pen then coloured over with yellow Copic Sketch marker Y11.

White heat embossed the sentiment on navy blue cardstock next.  To make the design cohesive, it was coloured with yellow and orange Copic Sketch markers Y15 and YR07.  Assembled the card onto a white woodgrain panel matted on navy blue cardstock before adhering to a white card base to finish.

There is plenty of time to join the challenge for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to HA.   All details, more inspirations and the link up tool are HERE.   If posting on Instagram, please tag @ablognamedhero with hashtags #heroarts and #staycraftychallenge.  The challenge ends at 5:00 pm PT on November 3, 2024.  Good luck and thank you for stopping by.
