Whimsy Stamps - Santa at the Door

Hello everyone.  I’m still working on Christmas cards even though it doesn’t look like I will be able to send any out this year due to our postal strike!  Well, I guess I have a big head start for next year. 😂  Anyway, my card today features the Santa at the Door stamp set from Whimsy Stamps (WS).


Since Santa is at the door, I couldn’t think of a better time to use the Keyhole die!  The keyhole frame was die cut from gold foil paper using the largest and third largest dies.  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It paper, coloured with Copic Sketch markers, then die cut out with the second largest keyhole die.

eyes - BG02
skin - E000/00/53/13/04 
whites - C00/1/3 
belt - C09 
buckle - YR23 
teddy bear - E30/31/33/35 
sack - E41/42/43/44 
trees - YG61/63 
sky - B0000, 0 


The back panel is navy blue cardstock stamped with Farmhouse Shiplap Background in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder for a tone-on-tone look.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on black cardstock then trimmed into a strip.  Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
