Spellbinders - More Bibi’s Musical Notes

Hello everyone.  I’m back to share more cards featuring the Bibi’s Musical Notes collection by Bibi Cameron from Spellbinders (SB).  First up is a pink Christmas card in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The snow-woman from North Pole Sentiments was in my stash.  The sentiment, also from North Pole Sentiments, was die cut from X-Press It paper and coloured with a RV55 Copic Sketch marker.

For the background, a snowy slope was fussy cut from white cardstock then flipped over to be used as a mask on a light pink panel before ink blending Picked Raspberry distress ink.  Glued the snow-woman to the scene then splattered with white gouache paint.  The music notes and stave were die cut from gold foil paper.  Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.

My second card is a birthday card.

The Musical Notes 3D embossing folder.was used to dry emboss a piece of Bristol paper.  Brown ink left on a blending tool was then lightly applied to the raised music notes.

Die cut the Mini Musical Instruments from gold foil, Kraft and chocolate paper.  Added dimension to the violin by ink blending chocolate dye ink to it.  Die cut a few music notes from black cards rock.  Assembled the card onto a white card base then finished with a gold foiled sentiment in my stash from the Birthday Sentiments sẻt (currently on sale at 50% off).

Here’s the trio (the piano easel card is in this previous post)

Wow!!! Two absolutely fabulous cards!! The instrument one is stunning; those instrument die cuts are amazing! And the snowman card is super cute! Love the colors and I absolutely LOVE how you curved the sentiment to follow the curve of the musical staff! Such a little thing but it makes a big impact! Thanks for playing with Cut It Up Challenge.

Boy oh boy, Trina... did you make those musical instruments look so realistic. I looked at them for ages. My son plays the saxophone. As for the other cards they are adorable too. You certainly made this collection appealing and believe it or not I passed on it. I wish I hadn't now that I saw your creativity! Thanks for playing at Seize the Birthday.

Trina, love your snowwoman all dressed in pink. Snowmen & women are my favorite, and I have quite a collection of them in my Christmas decorations. Beautiful card, as well as the other musical cards.
