Hello everyone. My products from this month’s Heart to Heart release at Sinn Says Stamp (SSS) arrived late (good old Canada Post is in desperate need of a major overhaul!), so I’m arriving fashionably late to 😂 to share a simple card featuring the Locket of Love stamp and stencil sets. There is also a matching die set to complete the suite.
This started out as a one layer panel, but then🤷🏻♀️…
The locket was stamped with Memento London Fog ink onto Bristol paper. Masked it to stamp the chain. Removed the mask and used the stencils to add gradient colours of blue and grey dye inks. Next, heat embossed the image with silver embossing powder (easier to stencil flat images). Masked the image , including the chain, to work on the background and this was where I messed up.
Rather than starting over, the image was fussy cut out. Kept the background simple this time and ink blended the same blue dye inks on a small Bristol panel. White heat embossed the sentiment from the new Plaque Slides Love and Friendship set. Assembled the card onto a white card base, then added Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the heart to finish.

This is such a beautiful locket, Trina! Your rich blues make the silver stand out even more! Our postal service is in need of a major overhaul too. Ever since the last overhaul, it's been terrible!
