Hello there. April 1st already? No April Fools joke here as I’m racing against the clock! 😂 I had misplaced the
Darling Daisies layering stencil set from The Ton before ever getting the chance to use it, so when I finally found it, I got to work right away! I love daisies and this stencil set made it so easy to create a gorgeous daisy panel!
Once all the stencilling with dye inks using blending brushes was done, I didn’t want to cover up too much of it so… I just added a Simon Sats Stamp “let’s celebrate” die cut sentiment from my stash. It was die cut from gold foil paper and layered onto its vellum shadow piece.
Since this stencil set truly is super easy to use and yields such gorgeous results, I played around with non-conventional colours… and they look amazing, too!
Using shades of brown, I was going for a vintage / sepia look with this one.
For this pink one, left the first stencil in place and splattered diluted white gouache paint to the background for some for some texture.
