The Canadian Thanksgiving holiday was two days ago on Monday. This was supposed to be a thanksgiving card for it, but my due set went missing. Murphy's Law, I didn't find it (actually a friend found it) until it was too late. So I pivoted and created this fun rocker rocker card.
The pumpkin and leaves were die cut from XPress It and mixed media papers, respectively. Coloured the pumpkin with Coouc Sketch markers and ink blended the leaves with distress inks (DI). Drew in leaf veins with Copic Sketch markers as well. Lightly splattered the leaves with diluted black gouache paint for a bit of texture.

DI used:
Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Rusty Hunge, Barn Diir, Lumberjack Okaid
Used the largest and third largest Pierced and Stitched Circles dies to die cut from heavy weight white cardstock and white woodgrain paper, respectively. Folded the largest circle in half to create the rocker base. Partial die cut the largest circle from brown gingham paper from the Mix n Match Neutrals paper pack to cover the front. Autumn was die cut from gold foil paper and its shadow from espresso cardstock. Gave the pumpkin some personality and used the eyes die from Shark Snack for the eyes and cheeks. Dotted the eyes with a white gelly roll pen and used the negative cutout to trace in the smile with a fine black pen. Assembled the card to finish. This will fit into an A7 (5"x7") size envelope since it's 5" wide and just under 6" high.
