Uniko Challenge #57 Reminder

Happy Fri-yay!.  I'm back guest designing at Uniko for their reminder challenge #57 Anything Goes with the optional twist of Cool Winter Colours.

I inked up my new Uniko Pure Florals: Lily stamp to create a really simple card.  Apologies for the poor photos.  It does not do the card justice IMO.

The lily was stamped with VersaMark on vellum and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  It was fussy cut out, then flipped to the back side where Wilted Violet distress oxide ink (DOx) was blended in the center with a blender brush.

Next a stitched rectangle was die cut from Bristol paper and adhered directly to the white card base. Wilted Violet DOx ink was then mixed with water and splattered on to the front.  Stamped the sentiment from Jane's Doodles All Occasions stamp set with Wilted Violet DOx ink on a scrap of Bristol paper and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Added clear shimmer to the vellum lily to finish.

Head over to the challenge post HERE for full challenge details, including prizes, and more inspirations from the design team.  The challenge can't get any easier, so hopefully you can play along.  Thank you for dropping by.  Enjoy your weekend.

Beautiful card and such an interesting technique. Vellum intimidates me but I love the effect you achieved by inking the back! We are so pleased that you joined us at Watercooler Wednesday!

Wow, how gorgeous and elegant the vellum lily is, Trina! I love it! The way you colored with Wilted Violet is fabulous and the spatters are perfect.
The white and purple color combo makes the card look noble.
