All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock and coloured in with Copic Sketch markers. For this card, the panel was die cut out with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. Was going to stamp a sentiment below and call it done, but decided to use the image as the “o” in JOY.
The Bold ABC letters were then die cut from alcohol marker friendly and black cardstock. Coloured the white letters with the same bright RV Copic Sketch markers used to colour the image. Mounted the panel on two pieces of cardstock for a bit of dimension. For some sparkle, added clear shimmer to the pinks. Finally for fun, added googlie eyes to finish.
I must admit, I thought the googlie eyes would be cute, but I think it made it look creepy. 😂*lol* Luckily, my next card is fun and adorable.
There was a scrap piece of pattern paper from my favourite Blurry Flurries 6x6 paper pack, so the Happy Large Word was die cut from it. Instead of die cutting a drop shadow from black (or other dark colour) cardstock, the shadow was added directly onto the word cutout with Copic Sketch marker V09.
Stamped “holidays” from Holiday Sayings in lavender. Wanted to show off the gorgeous pattern paper, so trimmed a new piece to A2 size then trimmed image panel down. Outlined along the edge with the same V09 Copic Sketch marker and added clear shimmer for some sparkle to finish.
That does it for my cards today. To view the October release, click HERE. Thank you for dropping by,
