Hello there. I have a super quick Christmas card to share today featuring the Blissful Winter rubber stamp set from Whimsy Stamps (WS) last release. I kept the card pretty classic with a black, white and red colour palette.
The stamp was placed in my MISTI and inked up with a gray dye ink. Stamped the image onto Bristol paper, then used a medium gray dye ink marker and coloured the middle distant images on the stamp and re-stamped, continuing until the desired depth of colour was achieved. Repeated the process with a black dye ink marker and the closest images on the stamp.
The bows from Santa’s Sleigh Mini Accessories die set were die cut from alcohol marker friendly cardstock and coloured with red Copic Sketch markers. Heat embossed the sentiment in red using clear embossing powder. Trimmed a strip of diagonal stripes pattern paper from the Mix n Match Neutrals 6x6 paper pack. Assembled onto a white card base, then added shadows to some of the images with a cool gray C00 Copic Sketch marker to finish.

ReplyDeleteWOW!! It's a so different card from your habits, but absolutely stunning and wonderful!! How many shades of grey!! I don't think they are fifty as the famous film title :D but the result is really amazing. LOVE the touch of red, so festive, and the diagonal stripes on the edge!! The perfection!

This is stunning, Trina. The soft gray looks like a snowy day and the touch of red on the lamp posts looks so festive.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful depth in this scene, Trina! I love how you added ink to parts to create that depth. I wouldn't have thought of that. Love the pop of the red bows too! A fantastic card, my friend!
ReplyDeleteYour multiple stamping in Misti is brilliant! I love how you managed to create such amazing depth! Black and red elements place important points in the foreground. This is such an amazing card, Trina!
