Peace Love Joy

Hello everyone.  I have more inspirations today featuring the new Peace Love Joy sentiment die from Whimsy Stamps (WS) last release.  This die set includes a large word die and a stitched rectangle base layer.  I used just the word die to create a super quick mini slimline.

The background is a piece of pattern paper from the new Blissful Blues 6x6 paper pack trimmed to 3”x6”.  The sentiment was die cut from it and then it was adhered onto a 3.25”x6.25” white card base.  Used the dimensional inlaid die cut technique next to fill the letters with white glitter paper stacked on top of two letters that were die cut from thick white paper.  And done!… easy-peasy!

I couldn’t let those pattern paper die cut letters go to waste, so made this twofer with it.  Used the negative die cut of the white glitter paper piece to help align them onto the white stitched rectangle.

The background panel is Sahara Sand cardstock with embossing paste through the It’s Snowing stencil.

Couldn’t resist adding the adorable bear from Sheltering Love.  Stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then die cut out with the matching die.  The snowballs surrounding the bear in the image didn’t work for the card, so they were fussy cut out.  Assembled the card to finish.

Large sentiment dies are ideal for making twofers.  To check out the November new release, click HERE. Thank you for dropping by.

  4. Not only you made two amazing cards, but used up all the pieces and the leftovers! Great! :D Loved reading the process you used for positioning the sentiments so perfectly on both, thanks for the really useful tips! The DP in the first one is very scenographic and love the embossed paste in the second one, it gives a great texture to the neutral background! The little bear is super cute!!! :)
