Hello everyone. I’m excited to be guest designing (GD) this week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown (52CCT) for their November STENCILS stash challenge.
I used new to me (NBUS) 3 Dog Holiday stamp from Purple Onion Designs (POD) with NBUS Evergreens stencil from Newton’s Nook Designs (NND) to create this fun card.
The image was stamped on alcohol marker friendly cardstock and on masking paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Fussy cut out the masking paper image to mask the other image. Used a blending brush next to blend Iced Spruce distress oxide ink over the stencil for the background.
Removed the mask and coloured the image / scene in with Copic Sketch markers. The sentiment from POD Holiday Messages was heat embossed on black cardstock with white embossing powder to finish.

This card is just so adorable! I've never seen that sweet image of the dogs carrying home their Christmas tree before and I love it. The stenciling makes a perfect background, too!

How you could cut a so difficult mask as this image is a mystery to me, Trina! LOL :D I'm really denied. Amazing colouring (it's not a new!! :D ) and the stencilled background looks great! Fun and cute card!!
