Alpacalypse

Hello again.  I’m back today with my final card inspiration from Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest release.  It features the new Alpacalypse stamp set.  The stamp name is a pun on apocalypse, but I wasn’t up to making an apocalyptic card.  Instead, I gave this alpaca sunglasses and an attitude. 😂

All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap of alcohol marker friendly cardstock, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then fussy cut out.

Copic markers used:
alpaca - W00, W1, W3, W5, R24
sunglass - C3, C8, 100
plants - YG01, YG03, YG07, YG09, G09, YG61, YG63, YG67, G99
pots - Y17, YR24, YR27, E09, E30, E31, E23, E25, E29

Salvaged Patina distress ink was then ink blended in the upper 2/3 of an A2 size Bristol panel.  Burp! was die cut from white and dark gray cardstock using the Slurp! Word die and offset for a drop shadow.  Adhered the images and letters onto the panel, then stamped the sentiment from Happy Whatevers in black to finish.

  3. You turned a grumpy, old alpaca into a cool, good-looking one by giving him sunglasses and putting him behind the cacti, Trina! Love how you used the featured new stamp set.
Your coloring, ink-blending, and the details of the sentiment are done so beautifully!

  6. Whimpsy Stamps should be paying you a regular salary for promoting their stamps so amazingly. Your scene looks brilliant and the coloring is so realistic. I love both cacti and this cute llama.
