Arrgh!

Hello again.  It’s a busy release day and I’m poppin’ back in today with my second postppl.  Arrgh you ready for the Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest pirate mini release?   My card features new Arrgh Word and Shadow and Arrgh Accessories die sets.  I pictured a pirate shipwreck with the accessories scattered on the ocean floor. 😂

The black slimline (SL) Film Strip was widened to fit an A2 size card by partially die cutting it.  Plus, I wanted to show the beautiful SL Under the Sea pattern paper as much pas possible.  The secondary sentiment from new Blimey Pirates stamp set was white heat embossed directly onto the pattern paper.  The Argh word was die cut from black cardstock and mounted onto its white shadow.  Highlights was added with a white gel pen.

The Arrgh Accessories were die cut from white, black and/or kraft woodgrain papers.  Used a detailed ink blending tool to shade the wooden leg and cork with Gathered Twigs distress ink.  The bottle was coloured with Copic Sketch markers G05/29/99 and its label with E31/33.  Assembled the card onto a white card base then added clear drops for bubbles to finish.

Here’s the collage of samples from the design team.

The August new release products can be seen HERE.  WS products used for my card are linked below.  Thank you for dropping by.
