Ink blending on die cuts is one of my favourite things to do, especially sentiments. I had something a whole lot busier and at the last minute re-did my card and kept it simple.
The Flower Garden cover plate was die cut twice from white and stacked together for the background. Use scraps to selectively die cut a few flowers from it. Ink blended Butter Bar and Taffy inks on them, resulting in orange centers. Smile was die cut three times from white and once from black to offset for a drop shadow. Ombré ink blended the top layer with Taffy ink. Assembled the card onto a white woodgrain panel. Added the white embossed black sentiment strip from my stash and a few clear jewels to finish.

A great background and your inking on the sentiment is so smooth and perfect! I wish I could do that!
Beautiful ombre effect with the sentiment, Love the card ♥
A lovely card, Trina. Beautiful blending...and the pop of color on the white die cut background is the perfect combo to highlight the blending. tfs
That's a fab coverplate so much detail but being white it doesn't overpower your sentiment die-cut which really pops. Love it all!!!
Thanks for playing along with us at Tic Tac Toe this week.
I'm smiling because your card is amazing!
Fabulous dimensions Trina, love so much the cover plate and your pink Ombré ink blending! Love also the contrast between the big Smile and the white embossed little stripe with the rest of the sentiment with a very different font. I have to follow your habit to make a few and keep them in the stash to have at hand!! The coloured flowers adds the perfect touch of colour(s)!
Hugs
Fabulous card for summer - love those bright flowers, the background, and all the dimension!
