▪️Floral Wreath fancy die
An incredibly thoughtful crafty friend recently surprised me with happy mail. It was something I didn’t realize I needed, but it sure lifted my spirit. To show my appreciation, I created this for her.
My card is a CASE of this card, which was made with a 3D embossing folder (EF). To get a simila effect, I used the faux embossed technique and die cut the wreath from Bristol paper and glued it onto an A2 size Bristol panel.
Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans distress inks were ombre ink blended around the wreath then splattered with white gouache paint. The letters were die cut from gold foil paper and the sub sentiment was heat embossed in gold. Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
As always, there are two $50 gift cards to the HA online shop up for grabs. Just make sure to use at least one HA brand product on your project and link it up on the HA blog HERE to be eligible. If posting on Instagram, please tag @ablognamedhero and include hashtags #staycraftychallenge and #heroarts. Challenge ends at 5:00 pm PT on October 6, 2024. Good luck, and thank you for stopping by.

I'm sorry for the late visit (we were on vacation), Trina, but it worked out because I just received this beautiful card in the mail! So now it is my turn to thank you for the surprise and delight of happy mail! I have to say the photos on here don't do the pretty blended colors justice and I love the new-to-me faux embossed technique! I think you are also an incredibly thoughtful friend and I thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Stay strong! Hugs, Darnell
