Guest Designing for ATCAS - Hero

Hello there.  Today I am excited to be guest designing at (GD) at Addicted to CAS (ATCAS) for their Hero challenge.

I took creative licence and used “Hero”Arts (HA) stamps as my hero.  As I mentioned in my post yesterday, this was the first card I created with the gorgeous Friendship Blooms stamp set.  I made this card for a friend who is having surgery soon and she just received it yesterday.

The set is large, and to keep my card clean and simple (CAS), I stamped it off the bottom right corner.  After it was stamped with Copic friendly black ink on Copic friendly cardstock, it was coloured in with Copics.

After all that colouring, I didn’t want to cover up too much of the image, so the sentiment from HA Hello stamp & cut was white heat embossed on vellum.  Clear shimmer on the flowers and a few mini circle clear drops finished off the card.

And that was all.  I want to thank ATCAS for having me GD.  Now it’s your turn to join in the challenge. For more inspirations from the designers, head over to the challenge blog HERE.  Thank you for dropping by.

Challenges:
AAA Cards - #151 One Corner + optional twist Colour Palette
A Blog Named Hero - October Nature
Watercooler Wednesday - #244 Helen’s All About Occasions
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Make It Clean & Simple (CAS)

Now these are exquisitely Copic colored flowers, Trina! The shades of the petals are amazing. Love that you stamped off and put the vellum strip over the flowers to keep your card CAS.

Trina, this is gorgeous, I love how you kept it clean and simple by stamping in the corner, it doesn't need to show much more than that with your sweet comment embossed on vellum! Heart Hugs, colleen
