A crafty friend is going through a rough time and since she loves pinks more than blues, I created this purple-y pink night scene card for her.
A moon mask was die cut from masking paper using a Circle Basics die by Memory Box (MB). Adhered the mask onto a Bristol panel, then ink blended Milled Lavender, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot distress ink (DI) using blender brushes and blending foams to create the night sky. Die cut the panel with an A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 1 die from My Favorite Things, then splattered it with water and blot with a paper towel for some texture. Set aside to dry.
I want to thank the TO team for having me as their guest. CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is sponsoring this challenge and is giving the winner a $25 credit to their online store. Your card is absolutely GORGEOUS, Trina. The shades of pinks/purples you used are wonderful. This card is sure to lift the spirits of your friend. I'm sorry I missed your first email, but we are all straightened out now, and your creation is such a wonderful contribution to our challenge. Thank you so very much for Guest Designing with us.
What a beautiful background you achieved blending those inks, Trina - love the moon too & the gorgeous blossoms!! Congrats on your guest DT slot!!
WOW!!! Amazing purple and pink card for your friend, love so much the dreaming atmosphere, it's so sweet and feminine!!! You always made the most beautiful cards with ink blending and stamps plus a few of diecuts!!! The splatters add the right texture without distract from the focal point, perfection! And the flowers give a Japanese feel to the whole creation. Love, love, love it!
OMGoodness, this is just so awesome! Personally, I love blue but who would not love your amazing sky and that beautiful branch.

Oh, Trina, this is a true work of art. What a tremendously beautiful, skillfully made creation. If this was a print, I would so want to purchase a copy and hang it on our walls.
