So who remembers the song Puff the magic dragon? 😉 For those not familiar with the song, it was my inspiration.
I followed this video to create my card. All panels were cut and scored from Bristol paper and all images were stamped on alcohol marker friendly cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic Sketch markers . Used new Wizard in Training stamp/dies with the new Poof die set.
Poof and stars were die cut from black glitter paper. The Chippy Paint Background was heat embossed in light gray, then a dark gray dye ink was applied on top and excess ink wiped off with a paper towel (emboss resist). Wanted to get a castle wall-like effect.
The aperture and two main images were die cut out using the Pierced and Stitched Circles dies. Ink blended Shaded Lilac distress ink for the background of the image circles.
White heat embossed the sentiment on black cardstock. Added dots and “sparkle” details with a white gel pen to finish.
Here is a sampling of inspirations from the design team.
If you can’t tell, this little wizard in training passed with flying colours! 😂 You can view and/or shop all products HERE. Thank you for dropping by. Have a wonderful day!

What a fun and cute card, Trina! I think this is the first time for me to see a "peek-a-boo flip" card. The little wizard in training and the dragon are adorable, and the castle wall-like background is perfect for the scene!
I thought one of your nephews (maybe Cohen?), would enjoy this card.
