The toner pack is Halloween themed, but I thought they worked well with the images in Hug in a Mug for fun non-Halloween cards. Started by stamping both images in the stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock, coloured with Copic Sketch markers and fussy cut out.
The toner panel was foiled with black Decofoil through a laminator. Both the Ugh! word and shadow were die cut from alcohol marker friendly cardstock. The letters were coloured to match the heart on the mug. Assembled the card onto a split black/white card base to finish,

I don’t know about you, but when I’m sick, I feel like death is knocking at my door (a little dramatic I know 😂) and things are fuzzy. So I tried to convey these feelings, respectively, with the grim toner panel behind the circle frame from Shaker Maker Combo die set, and the bokeh background from Blurry Flurries paper pack. Not sure if I succeeded. 🤷🏻♀️
This time the toner panel was foiled with Irridescent Decofoil. Love the gorgeous colours reflected off of it depending how the light hits it. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock, then die cut out with a Comic Speech Bubbles die. Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.

Two darling cards, Trina - love the coffee cup monster but my fave is the sweet mouse with his pillow. Gorgeous backgrounds & coloring on both!!
I'm not a Halloween fan, but your cards look really fabulous, Trina!! Great use of those backgrounds and images! The style of your cards is surely modern and striking!

Funny and cute cards, Trina! The iridescent Decofoil makes the circle panel non-Halloween look, and the bokeh background expresses the fuzzy and blurry feelings you get when you're sick. Beautiful coloring, as always!
