RIP

Hello there.  Kicking off the week with one final Halloween card featuring the Slimline Decrepit Grave die set from Whimsy Stamps (WS).

The decrepit grave was die cut from light and dark gray cardstock.  Used gray and black Polychromos pencils to add shading.  The cats and pumpkin are from the Witch Whispers die set and they were die cut from black and white cardstock, respectively.  Used Copic Sketch markers to colour the pumpkin and backed it with a coloured yellow scrap for the face.

The grass was die cut from Bristol paper using the Grass and Cloud Edger dies and inked with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness distress inks (DI). Was a little too heavy handed with the latter… oops.  Copic Sketch marker G99 was then used to flick on some grass blades. The background panel is Bristol paper cut to A2 size and ink blended with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Black Soot DI.  Once the base layer was laid down, the Sun Rays stencil was placed on top and more Twisted Citron DI was added over the stencil.  Removed stencil and splattered with water and diluted black gouache paint before assembling the card onto a white card base to finish.
It’s a shame Halloween / fall is not big here.  It took me out of my comfort zone, but I had fun creating with these faBOOlous 😉 products.  Now I have all these cards and no one to give them to… so if anyone of you, or you know someone who is interested in receiving happy mail, let me know through the contact form on the sidebar 👉.  First come, first serve and cards will be chosen at random.  And that’s a wrap for today!  Thank you for dropping by.

Another fabulous Halloween card Trina, love especially how you realized the stencilled background, it really has a beautiful glow effect!
I'm not a Halloween lover and here in Italy we don't have this tradition, only the kids enjoy dress up as they do at Carnival. So no spooky card for me :D but thanks for have had a kind thought :)
Hugs, have a lovely week!
