Floral Reflection

Hello everyone.  I needed a birthday card for my mother-in-law (MIL) and knew the floral Glimmering Just For You hot foil plate & die set with the Tile Reflection 3D embossing folder (EF) from the Floral Reflection collection released by Spellbinders (SB) earlier this month would fit the bill.  These products made it so easy that I ended up with three for my hubby to choose from!

For all three cards, the background was embossed with the EF and the floral arrangement hot foiled using the Glimmer Hot Foil System then die cut out with the matching die.

On this first card, both the floral and sentiment from Slimline Confetti Background were foiled with Silver hot foil.  Two strips of silver foil paper above and below the sentiment to help it stand out better were added to finish.

The next card is a classic black & white.  The floral and sentiment from Yana’s Special Sentiments hot foil plate & die set were foiled with black and white hot foils, respectively.

Used the debossed side of the embossed background instead here.

For my final card I went for a dramatic black and gold.  The floral and radial circle design from Fluted Classic Circles die set were hot foiled in Gold.  This was my first time hot foiling with a regular die!  It’s  a great way to stretch your dies.

The sentiment from Border and Sentiments clear stamp set was gold heat embossed on it.

So many possibilities with this gorgeous floral spray!  And for those curious as to which one my hubby picked… it was the first silver and white one.  Thank you for dropping by.

Three great cards and a really great inspiration. I'm very curious which card did your husband choose? For me, number one is the first card, although it was really hard to choose because they are all amazing!
