Hello there. The second mini release this month from Whimsy Stamps (WS) is live today! This release has “masculine” written all over it. I had fun playing with the new Yeti Birthday stamp and made a slimline (SL) birthday card.
The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock, coloured with Copic Sketch markers, then die cut out with the coordinating outline dies. The white border around the bottom of the small yeti was fussy cut off to allow a better stack.
Copic markers used:
blues - B0000, B01, B05
whites - C00, C0, C1, C2, C3
grays - C0, C3, C5, C6
toy bear - W00, W1. W3
The SL Connected Rectangle was die cut from thick white paper. Placed it onto a white SL card base measuring 3.5”x8.5” and traced the three large rectangle areas with a pencil to help with masking. Used a blender brush to ink blend Speckled Egg distress ink for the background.
Stamped the sentiment in black in the middle rectangle area. Assembled the card then added a few mini clear drops to finish.
