Birthday Suit Time

Hello there.  I’m back today to share another turtley adorable birthday card featuring the Turtle Tales stamp set again from Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest release   In this fun scene, it looks like there’s a cheeky one (pun intended 😉😁) in the group celebrating in his “birthday suit”. 🤣 *lol*   His friend is shocked and embarrassed. 😂

The images were unused from this card as they didn’t quite fit onto the turtle stack.  The three Peekaboo Window 5 panels were left over from this post.  Stacked two together for dimension and on the bottom top piece, ink blended Brushed Corduroy distress ink (DI) for the ground.

The Cutie ABC letters were die cut next from light pink and black cardstock to offset for a drop shadow.  Ink blended Picked Raspberry DI along the bottom of the pink letters for a slight ombré effect.  Adhered the letters onto the top two panels, then stamped the sentiments from You’re Birthday in black.  White heat embossed “EEEK! from Monster Daze on black cardstock, then assembled the card onto a white card base.  Used a brown Copic Sketch marker to ground the images better and cover up the white borders.  Added clear shimmer to the pinks for some sparkle to finish.

The June new release products can be viewed HERE.  WS products used for my card are linked below.  Thank you for stopping by.

I'm always impressed with your scene creation with a set of stamps, Trina! This is no exception. How creative you are to think of this funny Birthday Suit scene with two cute turtles (originally "flipped over'' and "ta-daa!")! Wonderful coloring and sentiment's drop shadow effect too!
