Hello there. I’m popping in today to share a turtley adorable birthday card featuring the new Turtle Tales stamp set from Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest release.
All images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock. Coloured with Copic Sketch markers and fussy cut out.
Copic markers used:
turtles - G40/43/46, E30/31/35, BG96
pinks - RV00/02/55
reds - R32/35/37/39
purples - V01/04/17
Bristol paper was then die cut with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. Did some masking directly on the previously released Big Love Manatee stamp set to isolate “turtley awesome” and combine it with words from You’re Birthday stamp set for a custom sentiment. Applied Lost Shadow distress ink (DI) for the background, but it looked plain, so more Lost Shadow DI was applied through the Sun Rays stencil next to give it added interest. Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
