Hello again. I’m back today with an unusual Christmas card featuring the new Blimey stamp and die set from Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest release. Pirates celebrate Christmas too, don’t they? 😂
The pirate skull, “yo ho ho” sentiment and Santa’s hat from Santa’s Magic were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock. Die cut the pirate skull out with the coordinating
die and coloured the sentiment and hat with Copic Sketch markers R02/24/27/46 before fussy cutting theme out.
“Humbug” and its shadow piece were die cut from white cardstock and coloured with the same red Sketch markers as listed above. For the background, stamped the brick image from Mixed Media Bits with white pigment ink on a black panel. Assembled the card onto a split black/white card base and added highlights with a white gel pen to finish.

I was fascinated by the sentiment on this card. Perfectly done! A perfectly designed Halloween card, a black background and a pirate head are a harmonious duo.
