AAAh!

Hello there.  I have a spooky FUN slimline (SL) Halloween card to share today from Whimsy Stamps (WS) latest mini release featuring the new Running Scared die set, new SL Nightmare die and new SL Nightmares paper.

Die cut the running images and letters (using the Arrgh! Word and Shadow die set) from white paper and ink blended them with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress inks.  Arranged and adhered the letters to black cardstock, then fussy cut it out to give it a black shadow.

The Batty bat and SL Nightmare panel were die cut from black cardstock and inked with white pigment ink.  Assembled the card onto a 3.5X8.5-inch split black/white card base and added highlights with a white gel pen to finish.

What a spooky and fun Halloween card, Trina! This is another fantastic example of how to use design paper effectively. The bright colors of the sentiment and the "running scared" pop against the dark night scene. I also love your original arrangement of the die-cut letters. Great work!

A funny combination of a scary background with contrasting letters and silhouettes of running people. A really great halloween card.
