Stay Crafty January 2024 Challenge Reminder- Everything Old is News Again

Hello there.  I’m popping back in a second time today with a card inspiration for the January Everything Old is New Again Stay Crafty challenge over on the Hero Arts (HA) blog

*affiliate links were used in this post at no extra cost to you… thank you for your support*

This time I decided to CASE this old Easter card using old and new Hero Arts (HA) products to create a new card for a friend’s birthday next month.
▪️Bees and Flowers dies (new-to-me)
▪️Bouquet Accessories dies (old)
▪️Nesting Circles Infinity dies (old)
▪️Let’s Celebrate stamp (old)

Please note: affiliate links were used when possible in this post at no extra cost to you.

All pieces, except for the circle ring and circle background, were die cut from X-Press It paper and coloured with Copic Sketch markers.  The circle ring and background were die cut from Bristol paper.

Copic markers used:
purples - V01/04/15/17
yellows - Y11/21, YR24/27
greens - YG61/63
black - 100
whites/shading - C00/1/2

Wilted Violet distress ink was ink blended on the circle background.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on black cardstock and trimmed to a strip.  Assembled the card onto a white woodgrain panel that was scored vertically at 1” intervals.  Mounted the wreath on top of two cardstock circles for dimension, then added clear shimmer to the butterfly and daisy centers for some sparkle to finish.

There is still time to play along for your chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to the HA online store.  Simply create a new project with HA products following the challenge theme and link it up HERE by 5:00 pm PT on February 4th.  Thank you for stopping by.

What a gorgeous remake Trina - the centers of your daisies look so real, wonderful coloring on them - and the purple butterfly and shaded circle is beautiful with the white!
