Hello and happy new year! Hope 2024 is off to a good start for everyone. This is not just my first blog post of the year, but I’m excited to announce that this is also my first post as a designer on the Hero Arts (HA) Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero (ABNH) challenge design team (DT)! 🎉🎉🎉
I used Big Hugs stamp and cut (old) and Winter Mail Critters stamp (new) to create this simple card.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock and on masking paper. Fussy cut out the masking paper image and masked the other image before ink blending turquoise dye ink for the background. Removed the mask and coloured the image with the following Copic Sketch markers:
browns - E30/31/ 23/25/27
reds - R14/27/46/89
shading - C00/0/1
Stamped “sending you” on the panel in black, then die cut “big hugs” from white and black cardstock. On the white pieces, ink blended turquoise dye ink. Offset the two for a drop shadow and adhered onto the panel to finish.
