Hello there. I’m sharing another card for the FebruaryDo You Believe in Love? Stay Crafty challenge hosted on the Hero Arts (HA) blog.
*please note: affiliate links were used in this post when possible at no extra cost to you… thank you!*
Love is not isolated to February. 😉 Since I was left scrambling a bit last year 😂, I am getting a jump start and using one of my favourite layering stencil sets to create my first Christmas card of the year!
HA products used:
▪️Color Layering Poinsettia Window stencil & die
▪️Winter Foliage stamp & cut XL
▪️Luggage Lowercase Alphabet dies
▪️Nesting Rectangle Infinity dies
Gradient colours of red and gray dye inks were ink blended over the stencil layers with blending brushes. Die cut the panel down to 4x5.25-inches with the second largest nesting rectangle die, then die cut it with the matching die. This die will only die cut out the center opening while dry embossing and adding partial cuts to the image. Matted the image piece onto an A2 size black panel.
The luggage letters were then die cut from silver glitter paper. Heat embossed Peace & Joy with silver embossing powder on the black panel through the opening. Assembled the card onto a white card base, then added clear shimmer to the poinsettias for more sparkle to finish.
You still have until 5:00 pm PT tomorrow, March 3, 2024, to enter the challenge. There are two $50 gift cards to the HA online store awarded. One winner will be randomly selected and the other will be voted on by the design team (DT). Just ensure to use at least one HA brand product to qualify. The link up tool is HERE. Thank you for stopping by.
