Stay Crafty August 2024 Challenge Reminder - Sugar Sugar

Hello everyone.  Dropping in today to share my reminder card for the August SUGAR SUGAR Stay Crafty challenge over on the Hero Arts blog.

*affiliate links used in this post when possibke at no extra cost to you… thank you*

HA products used:
▪️Gumball Machine fancy die
▪️Let’s Celebrate stamp
▪️Brick Wall stencil
▪️Pitch Black cardstock

Are gumballs sweet?  I can’t say that I’ve ever tried one, but I assume they are just as sweet as any other candy. 🤔

The gumball machine was die cut from white, black, silver shimmer and silver foil paper/cardstock.  Coloured the gumballs with Copic Sketch markers R29, YR04, Y08, G05 and FB2.  Added a highlight to them with a white Posca pen.

For the background, light gray dye ink was ink blended over the Brick Wall stencil.  Stamped the sentiment in black then mounted the panel to a scrap of thick cardstock for a bit of dimension.  Assembled onto a rainbow pattern paper matte layer adhered to a white card base to finish.

There are two $50 gift cards to the HA online store to be won.  Use at least one HA brand product on your project and link it up 5:00 pm PT on Sunday, September 1, 2024 HERE to be eligible. If you share on Instagram, ensure to tag @ablognamedhero with hashtags #heroarts and #staycraftychallenge.  Good luck!  Thank you for stopping by.

This is oodles of fun, what a great gumball machine! We had a red one that we used to fill with peanut M&Ms. Our son's friends always loved coming to our house to play!

What a fun gumball card. Love the background you created for it. Yes, gumballs are kind of sweet. It is coated bubblegum balls. Thanks for playing along at Seize the Birthday.

You've never had a gumball???? They're sweet but only for about 5 minutes. LOL! This is amazing. Love the background and those gumballs trying to make their escape (always gotta hold your hand out right there to catch 'me!") is such a wonderful touch. Thanks so much for making my Retro theme look so good here at Seize the Birthday!
