The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It paper, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then fussy cut out.
Copic markers used:
ewe - C00/1/3/5/6/9, RV02, 0
lion - E30/31/49, YR21/ 23/24/27
WTF? word and shadow pieces were then die cut from white. That sweet little ewe was taken off guard and let let the profanity slip. 😂 The letters were ombré ink blended in pink to help lessen the offensiveness. 🤣
A Wavy Pierced Rectangle panel was die cut from Bristol paper next and the center ink blended in pink as well. Flicked with water and blot with a paper towel for texture. Assembled the card onto a white card base then stamped “squeezes” to finish.
I also considered using this other image for my IG Hop Valentine card… and since it was already coloured up, I didn't want it to collect dust in the UFO (unfinished objects) box, so made another fun card.
The speech bubble and sentiments were die cut from white. Ombré ink blended the sentiments with Salvaged Patina and Unchartered Mariner distress inks (DI). The background is Bristol paper ombré ink blended with Unchartered Mariner DI. Flicked it with water and blot with a paper towel as well for texture before assembling the card onto a white card base to finish.
