The Falling Stars plate was inked with pink dye ink and presses into light pink cardstock. It was darker than I wanted, so a quick whitewash of diluted gesso was applied over it to mute the colour. Side note: the Falling Stars BP was designed to work with the Wishing Stars embossing folder (EF) for a cool embossed/letterpress star background.
The image pieces were die cut from white, gray, pink, Kraft, brown and gold foil papers. For dimension they were ink blended with Lost Shadow, Victorian Velvet or Brushed Corduroy distress inks (DI).
Assembled the card onto a white card base, then added a gold foil sentiment in my stash to finish. Here it is in action.
My second card used Swinging Among the Stars again, but this time stretched to create a fun wobble interactive card.
The image pieces here were die cut from white, yellow and lavender papers. then ink blended with Lost Shadow, Wilted Violet, Scattered Straw or Brushed Corduroy DI for dimension.
The sentiment was another one in my stash. It had been die cut from white glitter and black papers.
Assembled the card onto white woidgrain paper and popper the main image on an action wobble to finish. Here it is in action,
My final card is a straight forward birthday card made for my youngest nephew who is turning 3! <yikes!> Don’t know where the time went.
The balloons and car body were die cut from white and ink blended with various DIs. The headlight and tail light were also die cut from white, but coloured with Y19 and R27 Copic Sketch markers, respectively. The wheels were die cut from black and silver foil papers.
The clouds were left over from the previous wobble card. The background is Bristol paper ink blended with Tumbled Glass DI.
Assembled the card onto a white card base. Drew in the balloon strings with a black pen and ruler. Added another sentiment from my stash to finish.
