For my first project, I have this Christmas card that was inspired by the northern lights. The Mountain Horizon die reminded me of it. It was used to die cut from Bristol paper. The sections were then ink blended with distress inks (Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot). .
Pieced the scene back together onto a black panel then spritz with water and dabbed off with a paper towell before splattering with diluted white gouache paint for a snowy texture.
Die cut the Joyful sentiment from white glitter paper and its shadow from vellum. Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
My next project is a fun rocker birthday card featuring the new Bouncy Happy Birthday die with the Nested Stitched Ovals dies. The sentiment was die cut from gold foil paper and mounted into its black shadow.
To create the rocker base, black cardstock was die cut with the largest stitched oval die then folded in half. The polka dot pattern paper was die cut with two size down stitched oval die. Kept it super simple and assembled the card to finish.
Here’s a quick video of it in action. .
