Hello everyone. I have another holiday card to share. It’s a punny card… and it looks like I’ve been singing the 🎶“Let It Snow” 🎶sông incorrectly all this time. 🤭😂 I’m using products from Whimsy Stamps (WS).
The yeti from Don’t Peek Yeti was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It paper, coloured with Copic Sketch markers (BG10/13/09, C1/3) then die cut out with the coordinating die. The Mix and Mingle YETI letters and Snow sentiment were die cut from Bristol paper and ink blended with teal dye ink.
For the background, two Bristol panels were trimmed to 3.75x5-inches. The back panel was ink blended with the same teal dye ink at the top and bottom, spritz with water then dabbed off with a paper towel for some texture. For even more texture, splattered with diluted teal dye ink and white gouache paint. The other panel was die cut with the border die from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border set. Used the same border die to die cut from silver foil paper then fussy cut the snowflakes out to stack on top of their white ones. Assembled the card onto a white card base, then added clear shimmer to the sentiment for some sparkle to finish.
